I help service-based businesses turn the website they’ve been hesitant to share into one that clearly communicates what they do, builds trust, and makes it easier for the right people to take the next step.
But Stephanie Marie Studio didn’t start with a perfectly mapped-out business plan. It came from a completely unexpected change in my own life—and a decision to build something new.
For 25 years, I built my career in the corporate world. I never imagined I’d leave that behind to become a web designer and business owner—but sometimes the plans we make for ourselves aren’t the plans God has for us. When I was laid off, I found myself at a crossroads. What felt uncertain at the time became the push I needed to finally build something of my own.
I started learning, creating, and figuring things out one step at a time. Along the way, I discovered how much I loved bringing together design and marketing to help other business owners communicate what they do in a way that feels clear and intentional. That unexpected turn eventually became Stephanie Marie Studio—a business built from starting over, trusting God with what came next, and realizing that sometimes the path you didn’t plan is the one that leads you exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Your website is more than colors, fonts, and a beautiful layout. It should clearly represent your business and make it easy for people to understand what you do and take the next step.
That’s why I take the time to understand your business first, then bring the messaging, design, and details together into a website you’re proud to share.
Not hidden behind an outdated website. Not buried under generic branding. Expressed clearly, beautifully, and in a way that finally feels like you — aligned inside and out.
You don't need to be louder to be seen. A presence rooted in who you really are will always outperform one built around who you think you should be. Slow down, go deeper, and let the right women find you.
Alignment isn't a luxury. It's what allows you to show up with confidence, serve with clarity, and grow with purpose. When your website finally reflects the depth of who you are, everything else starts to click into place.
The version of you who built that first website was doing her best with what she had. Honor that. And then let it go.
Most mornings start slow and intentionally — coffee in hand, Bible open, and then a walk with my dog Harper before the day gets going. It's the kind of routine that keeps me grounded no matter what the day holds.
When I'm not at my desk, you'll likely find me thrifting or antiquing with my best friends, completely lost in a historical fiction novel, or on a road trip with my husband with the windows down and no particular hurry to get anywhere. I love taking trips with our friends and family — good people and new places are two of my favorite things.
I'm a proud auntie to 3 nieces and 3 nephews — plus bonus nieces and nephews — and that role is one I don't take lightly. And yes, I do my best work from coffee shops. There's something about that hum of activity that just makes the creativity flow.
Born in Texas, raised in Washington State, and now happily planted in Alabama — I've always known the South was home. Five years in and it turns out I was right.
